Animal Medical Center of Troy
AMC of Troy is so excited to add another veterinarian to our team! We opened our doors in 2000 and have since grown from a single doctor practice to an 8,600 square foot, 2.5 doctor practice. We proudly support multiple areas of our community including a number of rescue organizations, the Troy Chamber of Commerce, and are a sponsor of Ace's Baseball.
Our hospital environment is collaborative and relaxed. With our confident, experienced support staff and clientele who are willing to provide the best possible care for their pets, our doctors are always set up for success. Our positive, team building culture makes our hospital a safe, inviting space for all new team members.
We encourage doctors of all experience levels to apply, especially those with an interest in surgery, dentistry, and client communication. Our new doctor's caseload will come from both existing and new patients, and our appointment times are flexible. For new grads, we are happy to extend appointment lengths and all our current doctors would serve as phenomenal mentors! Our typical work week for a full-time DVM is 4 days with 1-2 Saturdays per month.
Our hospital is equipped with all the necessary tools and amenities to practice great medicine and we are also very fortunate to have had minor renovations done to the practice in recent months. A short list of these Hospital Amenities are:
- Dental x-rays
- Digital x-rays
- Surgical Laser
- Ultrasound
- Therapy Laser
- Grooming/Boarding
